Describe the steps along the construction career ladder and the increasing amount of responsibility that comes with each position.
It starts with being the carpenter "hammer", you usually frame doorways and windows to building the flats used to create interior walls. Next is the gang boss, your union wage is from $33.14 per hour and you supervise at least five other hammers, but still have to do a lot of hands-on construction. After that, it's foreman, you usually work for $35.14 and hour and are a project manager, you use blueprints to help with equipment and supplies. Last, it's construction coordinator, the pay is typically $2,103 per week, here you supervise all set construction and hire workers.
